Step 1: Domain

Go on your favorite registrar service, and purchase one. Make sure that you can remember it, you will need it later. Don’t know how? Keep reading! If you don’t have money for registration, there are tons of free domains out there. A quick Google search should do it for you – for example free .co domain. Step 2: Web hosting: Go to hostinger and purchase hosting plan for one year.

Step 2: Domain Registration

Go here and enter your chosen domain name. Then go through the steps (at least until you get to Step 4) and register it. This can take up to 24 hours but often doesn’t take more than 3 hours. Step 4: Website Builder

You can find hosting for your website for less than $5 per month if you shop around, so don’t worry about spending too much money. In fact, most hosts offer free plans that are more than enough for starting out! As you grow as a blogger and learn what works best for you, switching over to a paid host like Bluehost or GoDaddy is something that’s definitely recommended. But if you’re just starting out, don’t worry about it.

Step 5: Creating a WordPress Account

We will use WordPress to build your website, and you can even use it for free. Simply sign up for a hosting account via their site by providing an email address, selecting a password and selecting your domain name (which you have already purchased). WordPress is one of the most popular content management systems (CMS) used on websites and blogs. In order to get started, you will need create an account on WordPress and then you are ready to begin blogging.
